Spec’s nearing completion on FM 3009.
Residents in the Cibolo/Schertz area are posting photos of new Spec’s signage going up along FM 3009 (Roy Richard Drive), suggesting the liquor store is close to opening.
While the company has not published a local grand opening announcement, a state filing for a Spec’s project in Schertz has been on the books for more than a year.
Some residents thought the building was going to be a CVS Pharmacy. Upon finding out it was a Spec's they appeared upset there was no drive-through for refills.
Where it is
The new store is on FM 3009 / Roy Richard Drive in Schertz, near the Borgfeld Road intersection. Just south of Slim Chickens/Starbucks area.
